Ebony and steel



After what felt like an eternity of polishing I'm finally finished with this carving knife. It's made from an old rusty chisel (which could hardly look more different after it's transformation) and a reclaimed chunk of ebony (in the form of a discarded elephant). 
More reincarnations of the elephant will materialise shortly.

  2. That's nice...I was wondering how you stuck the blade into the wood...just glue or pressure?
